Lately there has been an avalanche of emails that start:

“Thank you, here’s your download..”
“You’re Payment Details…” (mis-spelled!)
“Your order confirmation…”
“Thank you for your order, here’s your download…”
“Thank you, download your gift here…”
“Customer notification #3283″

Almost always, the email reads something like, “My good friend (name) has just launched a new product and I’m sending you a private link…” blah, blah, blah…

What a waste of time, never mind the lack of professionalism. I always delete this crap, and you should too.
Understand that this is merely a scheme to grab your email address, usually in exchange for another worthless “report” that ultimately leads to an upsell later.
